
Glenn Standish was born in New Zealand but was brought up in Saudi Arabia and the UK. He has taught English in Poland for 23 years and has been the Director of Studies at IH Toruń for the past 14 years. He is also a tutor for the IHCYLT (IH Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers) and IHCAM (IH Certificate in Advanced Methodology) courses and an IHWO course moderator. He has written several articles for The Teacher and The IH Journal magazine and is currently the National Geographic Learning Ambassador for Outcomes 3ed. He loves presenting on the conference circuit and has been to 66 countries (most recently Myanmar and Pakistan). He has given workshops in many countries such as Belarus, Bulgaria, Colombia, Italy, Moldova, Portugal, Romania, Ukraine, and the UK, among others.
