I am a graduate of Didactics of Foreign Languages at the Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk and postgraduate studies in Oligofrenopedagogy - education and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Łódź. I have been working as an English teacher for 30 years. Currently I work at the English College private language school, where I hold the position of Director of Studies. I am also an acredited and certified neurolanguage coach. On a daily basis, I am passionate about photography, music, literature and ornithology. I enjoy travelling and exploring the world around me.
In an age of distraction, I will show how small changes to textbook tasks can make a real difference to students’ attention and engagement. I will share practical ways to redesign instructions so teenage learners think, react, and use language more authentically — without creating extra materials. Using examples from reading, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and speaking, I will focus on simple, brain-friendly task design that teachers can apply immediately.
