My name is Marta Fiećko-Zawadzka, I teach English, German and Spanish, I am a teacher trainer, owner of New Effect Language School in Warsaw. I strongly support the "no school book'' policy during my lessons, using innovative and creative ideas as well as modern technologies. Contact with people and languages is something that brings me a great deal of joy and pleasure. During my lessons I focus on the students' needs and interests so that I can teach a language in the most attractive and also the most EFFECTive way. I have always seen myself as a passionate individual whose destiny was to become a teacher. Proof? I was born on Teacher's Day!

How do adults and older teens learn? Practical ideas on vocabulary revision

How do adults and older teens learn? In order to facilitate the learning process and improve our students' memory, we need to start from the basic principles of andragogy (adult learning theory). No worries! I am the last person to bore you with theory. During my workshop we will use this knowledge in practice and hopefully afterwards you will be able to implement and test some new ideas on your students in your classrooms.
