He has a Cambridge CELTA and the Trinity Cert IBET.
As language teachers, we know that communicative activities provide our learners with the best opportunity to practice their speaking and listening skills. However, the roleplays and simulations we often use in class may be irrelevant to our learners’ needs as well as time-consuming to prepare, adapt and set up. So, what can we do to solve this problem? This workshop will show you how to introduce problem-solving discussions into your lessons as a low-prep, high-impact way to develop more engaging, productive communicative tasks that promote both fluency and the negotiation of meaning by exploiting a natural information-and-opinion gap between learners.
