Caterina Zougli – International Academic Consultant | Transformative ELT Methodologist
Caterina Zougli is an international academic consultant, teacher, and educational strategist who stands at the intersection of language education, human development, and transformative learning design. She holds an MA in Teaching from the USA (scholarship awardee), a BA in English Philology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a Certified NLP Practitioner from the American Board of NLP. With a career spanning over two decades across teaching, academic consultancy, and business leadership, she brings a rare synthesis of pedagogical depth, strategic clarity, and magnetic communication.
Her journey into education began in the classroom, where she taught learners of all ages and witnessed firsthand a truth that would later shape her work: language learning thrives when the whole human being is invited into the process. This insight became the seed for a holistic ELT methodology that integrates cognitive development, life skills, values education, and emotional intelligence, alongside rigorous language instruction.
Parallel to her academic path, Caterina has led large-scale business development, franchise expansion, and brand transformation projects across Greece and Cyprus, serving more than 375 educational organizations with a 100% retention rate. This dual expertise allows her to speak fluently to both educators and educational leaders, translating vision into scalable, sustainable practice.
As an International Academic Consultant for Express Publishing, Caterina designs and delivers high-impact teacher trainings, keynote presentations, and academic seminars worldwide, empowering educators to move beyond methodology as technique—and into teaching as purposeful human influence.
Currently, Caterina is preparing the publication of her proprietary Transformative ELT methodology, positioning language education as a catalyst for identity formation, mindset growth, and lifelong learning. Known for her inspiring presence, narrative power, and strategic mind, she is invited not only to train—but to move, challenge, and elevate the educational communities she serves.
In a world of constant stimulation, attention has become the new literacy. Language education today calls for more than content delivery; it calls for intentional design of focus, motivation, and cognitive clarity.
This session introduces Transformative ELT™ as a framework that reimagines attention as the driving force of meaningful learning. Drawing on cognitive science and wellbeing research, it demonstrates how emotional safety, story-based learning, and structured sequencing create classrooms where concentration deepens and intrinsic motivation flourishes.
Using examples from Happy Toons, participants will explore how task-based learning, project work, CLIL elements, values education, ethical inquiry, and cognitive hygiene can function as integrated mechanisms for sustained focus rather than isolated activities.
The result is a practical yet visionary model of early language education in which attention is consciously cultivated, wellbeing strengthens engagement, and methodology serves both academic rigor and human development.
When attention grows, learning flows — with clarity, purpose, and transformative impact.
